The International Patent Drafting Competition follows a structured three-step process designed to challenge and reward the technical and legal acumen of the participants:<\/strong><\/p>

Step 1:<\/strong><\/p>

Release of Invention Disclosures IIPRD and K&K release two distinct Invention Disclosures on their official websites (www.iiprd.com<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0www.khuranaandkhurana.com<\/a>). These disclosures cover two primary domains: Life Sciences and Engineering. Eligible participants are tasked with drafting a Complete Patent Specification (including claims and drawings) that complies with the Indian Patent Act for the technical domain of their choice.<\/p>

Step 2:<\/strong><\/p>

Registration and Fee Submission To ensure a high standard of entries from committed professionals and students, a nominal participation fee of Rs. 500\/- is required. Payments can be made via Bank Transfer, PayTM\/GooglePay (to 9810617992), or through a Cheque\/DD in favor of \u201cIIPRD\u201d. Each submission must include the participant\u2019s Name, Address, and Contact Details to ensure the delivery of a Participation Certificate to every entrant.<\/p>

Step 3:<\/strong><\/p>

Submission of Drafts Completed Patent Applications can be submitted digitally to\u00a0competition@iiprd.com<\/a>\u00a0or sent as a hard copy to the IIPRD Physical Office at \u201cD-45, UPSIDC, Site-IV, Kasna Road, Greater Noida\u201d.
